Analysis of water vapor phenomenon of LED candle lamp

2020-01-11 10:50:43

Recently, some customers on the Internet asked: "After using a candle bulb bought at home for a period of time, I found a layer of water vapor on the inner wall of the glass, and the outside looks misty. What is going on?" Today, I will share with you some of the reasons for this phenomenon.

First of all, we must understand the structure and composition of LED candle lights. From top to bottom, candle lights are divided into four categories: bulbs, lamp bodies (heat sinks, power supplies placed inside), plastic parts, and metal lamp caps. The conventional LED candle bulb shell part is combined with the lamp body by glue, which is the "culprit" of the "water vapor" phenomenon.

To understand why glue is the "number one suspect" we have to start with the production process of LED candle lights.

The production process of candle lamps is divided into two major segments: assembly and aging. In the conventional candle lamp production process, the bonding of the bulb and the lamp body has been completed during the assembly stage, followed by a large number of candle lamps aging together.

Then the problem is coming, no matter the size of the lamp, the temperature of the lamp body will rise during the process of lighting and aging, plus if the heat dissipation is not good, the water contained in the glue will evaporate under a high temperature environment, naturally Attached to the inner wall of the blister, this situation can be found by consumers after unpacking. But it was found that the earliest person should be the manufacturer. As for why it still circulates to consumers, it is the manufacturer's problem.

So how to prevent this kind of water vapor phenomenon from happening? This is indispensable in terms of production process improvement and glue quality.

We can make the following improvements in the production process of LED candle lamps: the process of bonding the bulb and the lamp body does not appear in the assembly stage, first assemble other structures to enter the aging stage, and finally complete the bulb and lamp body after the aging is completed Bonding, so as to prevent the phenomenon of water vapor during the aging process.

Then the problem is coming again. Doesn't the same phenomenon occur during the use of the consumer, only one in the factory stage and one in the terminal use stage, the problem has not been solved.

We also mentioned one factor above: glue quality. Since the fundamental problem cannot be solved in the production process, it can only be improved by improving the quality of the glue, but for small light source products such as LED candle lights, there is not much added value. Most manufacturers are It's debatable, so it means that you don't want to pursue low prices when buying anything.
